Empowering Families: The Transition Academy Launches Community and Family Workshop Series
The Transition Academy is proud to announce the launch of our Community and Family Workshop Series, a new initiative designed to empower families of students with disabilities as they navigate the transition from high school into adulthood.
Our inaugural session, “Advocacy, Educational Resources, and Rights for Undocumented Families,” will take place on December 5th, 2024, at Reved, 2301 Lexington Ave., Kansas City, MO 64124. This workshop is especially geared toward Hispanic families in our community, providing tools and knowledge that are culturally and linguistically relevant to their needs.
A Holistic Approach to Transition Planning
